Have a readššš
Since I stopped breastfeeding, about 10/11 months old; he is now 3, he has suffered with bad eczema.
The top photo was actually a decent day, it usually bled and we got stuck in round after round of steroid cream and creams. āāāā-
Feeling awful that he was in such discomfort we went to the Ultimate Health Clinic for a Food Intolerance Test and we spoke about a dairy allergy. I started to cut out dairy but I was never strict on it. I never checked backs of packets and if someone made him dinner I wouldnāt bother them with asking for different meal. āāāāā
Since 15th Jan I have cut our dairy completely, check all backs of packets and friends and family actually donāt mind catering for him, itās actually so easy!! āāāāā
Some things are a challenge, like birthday cakes and tea parties, sometimes I let him take the hit and tell him,"youāll get bad skin if you have this cake." He usually takes the cake and he suffers a little bit, but nowhere near as bad as the huge build up of small traces of dairy all the time. āāāā
The blood tests confirm itās not an allergy, so we are aware he has an intolerance, which at this age is unlikely to change as he gets older. But wow, what a difference! Three months no dairy!
UPDATED: Thanks for all cream recommendations but it wasnāt a case of dry skin for my son so not a cream we needed. it was dairy intolerance, just sharing so if people have similar situation to us where creams did nothing, they can maybe explore...
