Limerick’s Ultimate Health Clinic has just launched a new Post Pregnancy Weight Loss programme. The new initiative is based on years of studying the effects on clients of colonic hydrotherapy to accelerate weight loss after childbirth. In a recent review of post natal clients, weight loss was the main concern for women interviewed. Average weight gain for pregnant women of between 15 and 30 pounds is difficult for many women to handle emotionally with many unclear about how to separate fact from fiction regarding “post-pregnancy” weight control.
The new Post Pregnancy Weight Loss programme has been designed to cater for women with varying degrees of difficulty in managing their weight post pregnancy. In addition to the programme of colonic hydrotherapy and abdominal massages a structured nutritional course is followed to avoid women embarking on any radical or crash diets.
