Consultation to set new health goals before Christmas

Tuesday, November 8th, 2011

Ultimate Health Clinic, Castlecomer has launched its winter programme starting pre Christmas in advance of the season for indulgence. The clinic has being providing their clients with a series of solutions to help conquer problems such as weight control, bloating, constipation and bowel problems and has developed the detox programme to also include, nutrition and weight loss programmes through colonic hydrotherapy. The main causes of these problems arise from poor lifestyle, stress, poor diet, consuming unnatural foods or eating too many cooked foods.

When you consider that the average person who is at the right weight for their height could have between 10 and 25 pounds of waste in their colon it is not difficult to imagine how much a problem this could be for someone who is overweight. People should be aware that Colonic Irrigation is the most effective way of getting rid of this waste and overcoming associated problems such as Constipation and general bowl problems. The waste lying in the colon can become one of the triggers for illness so it is crucial that people cleanse their colon to get rid of all the toxins that can manifest themselves there.

Caroline Danaher, Managing Therapist with Ultimate Health Clinic has been delivering treatments for over 16 years. Caroline outlined ‘the most common complaints that we treat are from people who show symptoms of constipation, carbohydrate indigestion, diarrhea, gas, bloat, hemorrhoids, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, diverticulitis, colitis, parasites, skin conditions such as psoriasis, shingles, and eczema, inability to lose weight, and scar tissue and adhesions from surgery.’

She explained some reasons why different groups of people opt for colonic hydrotherapy with Ultimate Health Clinic range from athletes regularly opting for colon therapy to improve metabolic efficiency people who wish to deal with pain. The most frequent causes of complaint include abdominal pain, continuous headaches and migraines, back or shoulder pain, aching joints, gout. Many receive the treatments during a period of lifestyle change or as a preventive measure to counteract issues such as stress. As is custom at key points of the year many people use colonics as a core part of their detox programmes incorporating colonics with a cleansing program. The Castlecomer clinic is offering a free confidential consultation to outline the benefits of their services and how they can help you meet your health goals for 2012. Going To The Bathroom

Thursday, September 8th, 2011

Unfortunately in 90% of cases just going to the toilet is not enough. You might wonder: “Why?”

Because our “modern lifestyles” are completely unnatural and this leads to a build up of toxic waste in our bodies that accumulates over the years.

Many factors contribute to this faecal accumulation, the most common are:

  • Stress
  • Busy lives and ignoring the ‘urge to go’
  • Diets high in gluten and dairy
  • Red meat and processed meat consumption
  • Refined Carbohydrates and Sugar
  • Processed foods, artificial preservatives, sweeteners and other chemicals
  • Low intake of water with consequent dehydration
  • Low intake of vegetables
  • High alcohol consumption
  • High caffeine consumption
  • Fizzy drinks

INCREASED ENERGY LEVELS AND SPORT

Thursday, September 1st, 2011

To be healthy and vibrant means to enjoy life to the fullest. Never before now has the need to be able to perform in peak condition been felt across all areas; from the workplace to the sporting arena, to simply being able to juggle all our daily tasks at the speed that modern daily existence demands.

Busy executives who have to perform at high levels of efficiency consistently find colon hydrotherapy to be extremely beneficial as it allows the body to rid itself of toxins and the acidity accumulated during prolonged periods of physical and mental demand.

People who practise regular sport especially athletes find colon hydrotherapy extremely beneficial because of its natural and effective way of detoxifying the body without any side effects and without interference with supplements products. In fact, the absorption and synthesis of certain vitamins (namely vitamin K and the B family, minerals, essential fatty acids and water soluble nutrients, which takes place in the colon, is greatly increased when the colon walls are clean of debris and mucoid matter is removed.

Benefits

Apart from the general benefits of keeping the environment clean with colon-hydrotherapy, our clients in the category generally experience one or more of these benefits:

  • Improved metabolism and absorption of vitamins
  • A surge in energy levels
  • Improved range of motion
  • An automatic improvement in posture
  • Improved sleeping patterns
  • Enhanced mental clarity
  • A reduction in stress levels

NEW POST PREGNACY WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAMME REVEALED

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

Limerick’s Ultimate Health Clinic has just launched a new Post Pregnancy Weight Loss programme. The new initiative is based on years of studying the effects on clients of colonic hydrotherapy to accelerate weight loss after childbirth. In a recent review of post natal clients, weight loss was the main concern for women interviewed. Average weight gain for pregnant women of between 15 and 30 pounds is difficult for many women to handle emotionally with many unclear about how to separate fact from fiction regarding “post-pregnancy” weight control.

The new Post Pregnancy Weight Loss programme has been designed to cater for women with varying degrees of difficulty in managing their weight post pregnancy. In addition to the programme of colonic hydrotherapy and abdominal massages a structured nutritional course is followed to avoid women embarking on any radical or crash diets. Managing Therapist at Ultimate Health Clinic, Caroline Danaher outlined how post dieting may be off-limits for a while explaining ‘we have complied a mix of colonics treatment with well thought out nutrition schedule and very gentle exercise to have the maximum impact. One of the key objectives for us with our clients is not only to address weight loss and get body shape back but also to increase energy levels which can sink and leave people unmotivated to get active.’

Caroline also highlighted ‘A recent programme of treatments combined with nutrition and exercise resulted in weight loss of over 20 lbs for one of our clients who agreed to take part in a 6 week programme with us. She had the discipline to stick to the programme and now has a new lease of life based on the weight loss, energy levels and getting rid of some old bad nutrition habits.’

The Post Pregnancy Weight Loss programme is offered with a number of options from more intensive 10 day programmes to a programme spread out over a longer time frame to suit the busy schedules of new mothers.
